IT Support Technician (Part-time, 1-2 days/week)

About the role

Astucemedia is looking for a motivated IT Support Technician to provide on‑site technical assistance at our Montreal office on a flexible, part‑time basis (1‑2 days per week). This role blends traditional Tier 1 support with hands‑on office logistics in a fast‑moving creative‑technology environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver quick, friendly Tier 1 support to on‑site employees, handling day‑to‑day hardware and software issues.
• Set up and troubleshoot conference rooms, including audio/video, projection, and Teams/Zoom connectivity.
• Maintain overall office IT health: internet connectivity, printers, and peripheral devices.
• Configure, image, and deploy workstations (PC and Mac) for existing staff and new hires.
• Manage, wire, and organize network equipment and hardware on the premises.
• Assist with routine physical security backups and local data maintenance.

Required profile

• Practical IT experience or current studies in Computer Science, IT Engineering, Network Administration, or a related field.
• Familiarity with both Windows and macOS environments.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts such as Wi‑Fi, routers, cabling, and IP addressing.
• Comfortable setting up and troubleshooting hardware, audio/video gear, and office equipment.
• Highly resourceful, fast learner, able to work independently as the primary on‑site IT contact.
