IT Support Specialist – Onsite & Remote

About the role

We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide both on‑site assistance at our Toronto office and remote support for our EMEA and US locations. You will ensure smooth operation of hardware, software and network services across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver on‑site IT support for Toronto employees, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Provide remote assistance to EMEA and US teams, handling the same range of technical problems.
• Manage, prioritize and resolve IT tickets, including after‑hours responses.
• Address VPN connectivity issues and support video‑conferencing tools such as Google Meet.
• Monitor system alerts, escalating incidents when necessary.
• Process IT requests posted in Slack channels.
• Oversee employee onboarding and off‑boarding, provisioning equipment, accounts and access.
• Handle internal transfers, contingent‑worker extensions and Google Group/Slack channel changes.
• Maintain accurate asset records, update Uniflow badging, and coordinate hardware procurement with vendors.
• Support Google Workspace administration, including group memberships and access control.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support, help‑desk or desktop support roles.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS and Linux operating systems.
• Hands‑on experience with VPN solutions and endpoint security tools.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace and video‑conferencing platforms.
• Ability to manage onboarding/off‑boarding processes and asset inventories.
