IT Project Manager – Leak Detection & OT Projects

About the role

This Junior IT Project Manager position focuses on delivering complex IT and operational technology (OT) projects that enhance leak detection, control, and SCADA systems. The role is based in Edmonton with a hybrid work schedule (on‑site Monday, Tuesday, Thursday).

Key responsibilities

• Lead multiple projects valued up to $2 MM, managing all PMBOK knowledge areas and process groups.
• Develop project mandates, schedules, budgets, and status reports for senior management.
• Implement change‑management processes to ensure seamless deployment of critical systems.
• Coordinate OT project teams, work with leak‑detection SMEs, and oversee project documentation.
• Monitor project financials, quality, compliance, and resolve issues through root‑cause analysis.
• Continuously evaluate and improve internal project execution processes.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent education and experience.
• Junior‑level experience in project management, preferably with exposure to pipeline or hydraulic environments.
• Strong understanding of OT applications, infrastructure, and associated cybersecurity considerations.
