IT Platform Administrator

About the role

As an IT Platform Administrator you will play a critical role in operating, maintaining, developing and securing Desjardins' IT platforms. You will work closely with multiple IT teams to ensure stable, high‑performing technology environments that support thousands of applications and users.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, configure and maintain on‑premises and cloud IT platforms.
• Ensure availability, performance and reliability of all environments.
• Manage access rights, permissions and security configurations.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot and resolve incidents.
• Develop and maintain automation solutions to reduce manual effort.
• Document procedures and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with IT teams, end‑users and external suppliers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• Proven experience in IT platform administration.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms and security best practices.
• Familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Proficiency in Linux environments.
• Experience with Bash scripting, Python or similar languages.
• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
