IT Associate Manager

About the role

Huawei Canada is seeking an IT Associate Manager for a 12‑month contract to lead regional data‑center implementation and maintenance. The role supports the Quality & Operation Department, ensuring critical IT services run smoothly under tight deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain regional/office data‑center infrastructure, including Windows Server, web applications, databases and storage systems.
• Manage IT infrastructure construction, routine changes, incidents, and ensure continuous operation of servers, network devices and LAN switching/routing.
• Oversee service‑provider quotations, bidding, negotiations and supervise engineering work.
• Apply IT standards and policies across responsible offices and initiate projects to meet business requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in data‑center management, including hardware, networking and O&M.
• Familiarity with ITIL principles and basic computer‑network and operating‑system concepts.
• Experience with Windows and Linux operating‑system maintenance is preferred.
