IT Administrator

About the role

AlgaeCal, a health company focused on bone health, is looking for an IT Administrator in Vancouver. The role covers the day-to-day running of the company's technology: automating workflows, administering Google Workspace, supporting security and compliance, and troubleshooting hardware and software.

Key responsibilities

• Build and support workflows and automations across Slack, Jira and Confluence
• Administer Google Workspace, including user accounts, permissions, troubleshooting and security
• Support security training, risk assessments, compliance controls and internal and external audits under frameworks such as SOC 2, PCI and HIPAA
• Troubleshoot computers, routers, A/V equipment, software and inventory
• Support Salesforce, including requests, flow troubleshooting and improvements
• Help implement and improve the ERP system, designing workflows and automations

Required profile

• 1+ year of hands-on experience managing Salesforce or a similar CRM, plus workflows and automations in tools like Slack, Jira or Confluence
• Knowledge of SOC 2, PCI, HIPAA, risk assessments, controls and audits
• Comfortable troubleshooting everyday office technology
• Experience implementing, building or supporting an ERP system
• Salesforce Administrator or another relevant IT certification is a bonus
• Humble, eager to learn and a great teammate

What we offer

• Salary starting at $60,000 and going up to $80,000 depending on experience
