Invigilator – Fall Semester Exams (Outaouais Campus)

About the role

The Invigilator will support the administration of electronic and paper exams at the Outaouais Campus during the Fall semester. The role involves setting up exam rooms, assisting students, and ensuring compliance with university regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Set up the examination room according to specific requirements and verify that equipment and facilities function properly.
• Administer the delivery of electronic and paper exams and handle related documentation.
• Assist students with problems, directing them to IT support or the Chief Exam Invigilator as needed.
• Collect and secure mobile and web‑accessible devices before the exam and return them afterward.
• Accompany students to washrooms and alert the professor or Chief Exam Administrator when questions arise.
• Collect all exam materials at the end of the session and ensure nothing is left behind.
• Report any non‑compliant behavior and provide feedback to the professor or Chief Exam Administrator.

Required profile

• Client‑focused, service‑oriented and punctual.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to listen, assist students efficiently, and follow instructions.
• Capable of working independently or as part of a team while maintaining a quiet environment.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written); French is an asset.
• Minimum qualification: High School Leaving Certificate/Diploma.
