International Representative (Full Time)

About the role

The Christian Embassy of Canada is seeking a full-time, permanent International Representative based in Ottawa, reporting to the Christian Embassy Executive Director. The role sits within the Ministry Partner Development funding stream and involves face-to-face work with leaders in the office. The successful candidate builds trusted relationships with leaders, helps them discover Jesus and choose to live for Him, and coordinates outreach events and programs.

Key responsibilities

• Relationship building (40%): initiate and develop trusted relationships with leaders, provide prayer, encouragement and spiritual counsel, actively share Christ, and foster spiritual growth through prayer, fellowship, biblical reflection and leadership development.
• Outreach (40%): collaborate with the team on organizing and facilitating events such as luncheons, dinners, roundtables, seminars, webinars, business tours and international delegations, and initiate and coordinate an event.
• Training and engagement (15%): inspire and equip leaders to reach out to their peers for Christ and to make disciples, including inviting them to CE outreach and short-term projects in Canada and around the world.
• Personal development (5%): establish and pursue a growth plan in spiritual, relational and personal areas.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree as a minimum; a master's degree or higher is beneficial.
• International or cross-cultural ministry experience.
• Leadership experience at local, national or international level.
• Deep, growing relationship with Jesus Christ and genuine investment in leaders' lives.
• Spiritual maturity, discernment and understanding of the times.

Required skills

• Professional written and verbal communication with strong networking skills.
• Ability to connect with leaders from different cultural backgrounds and political perspectives.
• Evangelism and discipleship skills, with commitment to continued growth.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace; strong administrative and organizational skills.
• Preferred: fluency in English and French (written and verbal), knowledge of international protocol.
