International Imports & Exports Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for an International Imports & Exports Coordinator to manage air, ocean and rail shipments for our clients. The role is based in our Barrie office and involves coordinating all aspects of import logistics from quotation to delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Quote agents and customers on international air and ocean imports.
• Arrange transport of cargo from customers to carriers.
• Prepare and submit paperwork to customs brokers for clearance.
• Book air and ocean shipments and prepare import documentation.
• Finalize files and charges for clients.
• Track and trace shipments to their destination.
• Communicate with international agents, commercial accounts, customs brokers and carriers.
• Calculate revenue and costs on shipment files.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in international logistics or freight forwarding.
• Customer‑service oriented with a proactive, responsive mindset.
• Post‑secondary education in Supply Chain Management is an asset.
• Dangerous Goods training and knowledge considered an asset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
• Knowledge of Dangerous Goods handling procedures.
• Understanding of Canada Customs import/export practices.
