Intermediate Test Analyst – Procurement System Modernization

About the role

We are looking for an Intermediate Test Analyst to join a large‑scale Procurement System Modernization program in Edmonton. The role will drive testing strategy, create and execute test cases, and ensure that business requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Review business requirements and design specifications, providing test input and identifying gaps.
• Define, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test data in collaboration with subject‑matter experts.
• Facilitate test cycles, log results, track defects, and report metrics, risks and blockers.
• Prepare UAT dashboards and status reports for stakeholders and senior management.
• Support the use of AI and automated testing tools to improve efficiency.
• Participate in project meetings, offering timely updates on testing progress and issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience coordinating testing activities with business users, analysts, technical teams and third‑party vendors.
• Proven experience executing test data, running tests, verifying results and managing defect lifecycles.
• Experience with SAP, ERP, procurement, finance or supply‑chain systems, preferably Ariba and S/4HANA.
• Strong analytical skills with a track record of process improvement in testing.
