Intermediate Test Analyst

About the role

The Government of Alberta is modernising its Procurement System and needs an Intermediate Test Analyst to lead end‑to‑end testing across enterprise ERP and procurement platforms. You will ensure high‑quality delivery of Source‑to‑Pay (S2P) processes through structured testing, defect management and validation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, cases and scenarios for SIT, UAT, regression, integration and system testing.
• Participate in requirements and design reviews to define testing scope.
• Manage test data, environments and execution cycles.
• Log, track and resolve defects, providing status updates, metrics, dashboards and risk reports.
• Collaborate with business users, SMEs, developers and project teams.
• Support ERP and procurement system testing, including integrations and workflows.
• Contribute to process improvements and QA best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, Business, Finance or related field.
• 4+ years experience in QA/software testing, test planning and execution in enterprise environments.
• 4+ years coordinating testing with cross‑functional teams and managing defects.
• 3+ years experience tracking test metrics, risks and reporting status.
• 1+ year hands‑on experience with Source‑to‑Pay testing (SAP Ariba / S4HANA or similar).
• Strong communication, coordination and stakeholder management skills.
