Intermediate Software Developer

About the role

We are seeking an Intermediate Software Developer to join the digital transformation team at Thomas Cavanagh Construction in Kanata. The role focuses on building full‑stack applications and data‑driven solutions on the Palantir Foundry platform, supporting the company’s goal of running all business operations through a single integrated system.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop full‑stack web applications and data workflows within Palantir Foundry.
• Build scalable backend services and integrations using TypeScript or Python.
• Create, maintain, and optimise SQL‑based data pipelines.
• Engage directly with client stakeholders to gather requirements, demonstrate solutions and ensure successful adoption.
• Travel to client sites for on‑site discovery, problem‑identification and solution deployment.
• Collaborate with fellow developers and business teams to deliver high‑impact digital solutions.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong client‑facing aptitude and excellent interpersonal communication.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
