Intermediate Project Manager – Nuclear Projects

About the role

Tetra Tech is seeking an Intermediate Project Manager to lead nuclear‑related projects from its Pickering, ON office. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, cost‑effective solutions that meet client expectations and support a sustainable future.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate engineers, designers, procurement and construction specialists, contractors, and vendors.
• Manage nuclear and power‑related projects, ensuring schedule, budget, and risk controls are maintained.
• Develop, track, and update project schedules and budgets using industry‑standard tools.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and oversee change‑control processes.
• Authorize project expenditures and approve invoice payments.
• Provide leadership to the project team and serve as the primary interface with clients and stakeholders.
• Prepare procurement RFPs, evaluate bids, and ensure compliance with procurement procedures.

Required profile

• University degree in engineering or a related technical discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
• 8+ years of project management experience on nuclear or power‑related projects.
• Knowledge of nuclear engineering principles applied to design and construction.
• Eligibility to obtain security clearance.
• Strong communication, organization, and presentation abilities.
