Intermediate Panel Technician

About the role

AWC Water Solutions Ltd. is looking for an Intermediate Panel Technician to join its CSA‑certified Electrical Panel Shop. You will work in a clean, safe indoor facility equipped with modern machinery, overhead cranes, and welding equipment, assembling custom control panels for water and wastewater treatment projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble custom control panels according to electrical schematics.
• Wire panels, confirm component wiring, and ensure compliance with manufacturer instructions and code requirements.
• Review and verify bill of materials, flagging any discrepancies.
• Redline drawings during assembly and inspect finished panels for accuracy.
• Maintain safety protocols, keep the shop clean, and input weekly timesheets.
• Perform occasional field site work and travel as needed.
• Complete other assigned duties.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of relevant panel experience or as a junior panel technician.
• Team player with strong attention to detail and problem‑solving ability.
• Commitment to safety and high standards of conduct.
