Intermediate Full-Stack Developer (AI-Assisted)

About the role

Petal is looking for an Intermediate Full‑Stack Developer to join a high‑performing engineering team that is transforming its software development life cycle with AI‑assisted practices. You will work on modern SaaS solutions for the healthcare sector, helping to improve development velocity, code quality, and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Develop software using AI‑assisted coding tools and modern ADLC practices, including SDD.
• Coach team members on adopting AI‑driven development practices.
• Lead by example in ownership, execution, communication and productivity.
• Participate in peer code reviews and ensure code quality, security and compliance with standards.
• Monitor production features, identify issues, assess risks and take corrective actions.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional software development experience in SaaS environments.
• Strong constructive attitude, solid work ethic and good communication skills.
• Ability to stay up‑to‑date with a wide range of technologies and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Angular for rich interactive front‑ends.
• TypeScript/JavaScript development with Node.js and NestJS.
• Distributed microservices and event‑driven architectures using Azure Service Bus or Kafka.
• Relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Application security best practices, authentication and authorization.
• CI/CD pipelines and automation with GitLab, Docker, Helm, Terraform and Kubernetes.
• Cloud platforms – preferably Azure (AWS or GCP also considered).
