Intermediate Frontend Developer

About the role

The Intermediate Frontend Developer will design, develop, and maintain user‑facing web applications for a leading financial services firm. Working closely with the Technology team, you will translate design mockups into responsive interfaces and ensure seamless communication with backend services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using ReactJS, modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Convert design mockups and wireframes into clean, maintainable code.
• Consume RESTful APIs and collaborate with backend developers to define API contracts.
• Write and optimise SQL queries, understanding performance‑tuning concepts.
• Perform testing, debugging, and performance optimisation of frontend components.
• Participate in code reviews and manage source code with Git.
• Consult with users and other technology groups to recommend and implement solutions.

Required profile

• 2+ years of frontend development experience, preferably in the financial services industry.
• Intermediate‑level expertise in building robust web applications.
• Strong understanding of client‑server architecture and RESTful services.
• Ability to assess risk and adhere to compliance, ethical, and regulatory standards.
