About the role

Top Star Construction Ltd is seeking a skilled Insulator to join its Calgary team. You will work on a variety of residential and commercial projects, ensuring that buildings meet thermal, acoustic, and fire‑safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine insulation requirements.
• Select the appropriate type of insulation and measure, cut, and shape materials using hand and power tools.
• Apply insulation by spraying, blowing, pasting, strapping, taping, and other approved methods.
• Fit insulation around obstructions, between joists and studs, and install vapour barriers and fire‑retardant materials.
• Brush waterproofing cement or similar products over installed insulation.
• Assemble, erect, and dismantle scaffolding, rigging, and hoisting equipment.
• Safely remove asbestos, ceramic fibres, lead, mould, and urea‑formaldehyde insulation from existing structures.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation (high school diploma).
• 2 to less than 3 years of hands‑on insulation experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours and follow safety protocols.
