Infrastructure Architect

About the role

The Infrastructure Architect is a senior technical leader responsible for defining and evolving cloud‑centric infrastructure platforms that support the bank’s digital transformation. This role focuses on designing scalable, secure and resilient solutions across public, hybrid and on‑prem environments while aligning with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve cloud‑centric infrastructure platforms, ensuring scalability, security and resilience across public, hybrid and on‑prem environments.
• Establish architecture standards, reference designs and governance policies, including secure landing zones, networking, identity and AI platform foundations.
• Evaluate emerging cloud services and vendors, perform technical and financial analyses, and create roadmaps for cloud adoption and modernization.
• Collaborate with senior leadership, infrastructure, platform and application teams to provide guidance, mentor staff and drive consistent, cost‑optimized solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of IT experience with at least 5 years in a senior technical role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field (preferred).
• Proven track record designing and implementing enterprise‑grade cloud and hybrid infrastructure solutions.

Required skills

• Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud architecture.
• Infrastructure as Code, IaaS, PaaS design.
• Containerization with Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes.
• Linux/UNIX systems administration (Red Hat, AIX).
• DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines and automation.
