Industrial Mechanic – Machinery Installation & Maintenance

About the role

Komcan Inc. is seeking an experienced Industrial Mechanic to join its team in Georgetown, ON. The role involves installing, commissioning, maintaining, and troubleshooting a wide range of industrial machinery across various locations.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical equipment and stationary industrial machinery.
• Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements.
• Detect, troubleshoot and resolve irregularities and malfunctions in equipment.
• Repair or replace defective parts and perform routine maintenance.
• Install machinery, commission systems and components, and ensure proper alignment using laser, optical or computerized methods.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience working with industrial machinery and equipment.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to multiple sites.
• Ability to handle loads up to 45 kg and work in physically demanding positions (bending, crouching, standing for long periods).
• Strong attention to detail and excellent oral and written communication skills.
