Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Technician

About the role

We are seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Technician to join our team in Aurora, Ontario. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of stationary industrial machinery in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical equipment and stationary industrial machinery.
• Repair or replace defective machinery parts and perform routine maintenance.
• Install new machinery and equipment, ensuring proper setup.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems on conveyors, high‑speed packaging lines, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
• Maintain food safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards.

Required profile

• Ability to work in noisy, confined spaces and follow safety protocols.
• Attention to detail with physical capability to bend, crouch, kneel, stand for extended periods and lift up to 23 kg.
• Own reliable vehicle and personal safety equipment such as steel‑toed boots.

Required skills

• Experience with conveyors and electrical/electronic controls.
• Knowledge of high‑speed packaging equipment, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Proficiency with industrial and stationary engines, pumps, compressors, and power tools.
• Understanding of bearing, seals, packing, and wiring.
