In-Home Behaviour Analyst (BCBA/RBA) for Children with ASD

About the role

Prep Academy Tutors of Durham is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behaviour Analyst (RBA) or Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) to oversee behavioural programming for children with ASD and other developmental needs, while collaborating closely with ABA and academic tutors.

Key responsibilities

• Support skill development in executive functioning, self‑regulation, social skills, and academic readiness.
• Collaborate with tutors, parents, educators, and other professionals to ensure cohesive strategies.
• Provide supervision and guidance to tutors implementing ABA‑based strategies during academic sessions.
• Offer parent coaching and consultation to promote consistency at home.
• Maintain accurate documentation in line with professional and privacy standards.
• Ensure programming aligns with ethical guidelines and evidence‑based best practices.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Required profile

• Registered Behaviour Analyst (RBA) or Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) in good standing.
• Experience working with children and adolescents with ASD, ADHD, anxiety, or other developmental disabilities.
• Strong understanding of ABA principles and behavioural intervention strategies.
• Experience collaborating with and supervising ABA therapists or interventionists.
• Approved provider of OAP funding.
