HVAC Journeyperson Technician – Sudbury

About the role

Black & McDonald Limited is expanding its Sudbury service team and seeks a skilled HVAC Journeyperson Technician. You will work on a variety of heating, ventilation, air‑conditioning and refrigeration systems, ensuring reliable operation for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine predictive and planned maintenance, log readings, and complete work orders and field quotations.
• Assemble, install, troubleshoot, overhaul, and repair refrigeration and air‑conditioning components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, handle, recover and store refrigerants, and complete required safety documentation.
• Repair and replace components for heating, ventilation, air‑conditioning and refrigeration systems.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience as a Journeyman HVAC Technician.
• Member of or willing to join UA Local 787.
• Valid 313A refrigeration certificate, valid G1 or G2 driver’s licence, and Ozone Depletion Prevention (ODP) certificate.
• Commitment to safety, teamwork and customer focus.
