Human Resources Coordinator

About the role

Hydrostor is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to support its People & Culture team in Toronto. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will help deliver efficient HR processes that enable the company’s growth in the energy storage sector.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate full‑cycle recruitment for a variety of positions, including posting job ads, screening applications, and conducting initial interviews.
• Lead intern and co‑op hiring efforts, building relationships with educational institutions and managing student onboarding.
• Maintain accurate employee records in the HiBob Human Capital Management system and process lifecycle changes such as hires, promotions, transfers, and terminations.
• Support benefits administration, handling enrollments, changes, and employee inquiries.
• Partner with third‑party payroll providers to prepare bi‑weekly payroll submissions and ensure compliance for audits and reporting.
• Facilitate onboarding and orientation activities to create a welcoming experience for new hires.
• Assist with employee recognition programs and other culture‑building initiatives.

Required profile

• Organized and proactive professional with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with employees at all levels.
• Experience in HR administration, recruitment coordination, or related functions.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑moving environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the HiBob HR system.
• Familiarity with LinkedIn for talent sourcing.
