Human Resources Business Partner – Western Canada

About the role

The Human Resources Business Partner – Western Canada is a senior, regionally aligned HR leader who will provide strategic and operational HR support to business units across Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia. You will act as a trusted advisor to regional leaders, modernise HR processes and champion the use of HR technology.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with regional leadership to deliver practical HR guidance aligned with business objectives.
• Lead organisational design, workforce planning, role clarity and change initiatives.
• Contribute to Canada‑wide HR transformation, standardising processes and documentation.
• Drive adoption of modern HR practices, including Workday, AI‑enabled tools and analytics.
• Support change management for new HR systems, processes and tools.
• Manage employee‑relations matters, investigations, disciplinary actions and performance improvement plans.
• Coach leaders on people‑management, documentation standards and risk‑aware decision‑making.

Required profile

• Senior HR professional with a strong generalist foundation and transformation mindset.
• Proven experience advising senior leaders in a multi‑site, industrial environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead change, improve processes and influence regional outcomes.
