About the role
This full‑time position supports the daily operations of a daycare by maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for children, staff, and visitors. The role involves a variety of cleaning and housekeeping tasks performed on a regular schedule.
Key responsibilities
- Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors; dust furniture and vacuum carpets, rugs, draperies, and upholstered items.
- Make beds, change sheets, and restock linen and towel supplies.
- Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
- Collect debris, empty trash containers, and launder clothing and household linens.
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as washing windows, walls and ceilings.
Required profile
- No prior experience required – comprehensive training will be provided.
- Flexible availability for shifts, including early mornings, evenings and on‑call work.
- Ability to start on the date specified in the posting.
- Open to candidates who are currently students.
