Housekeeper

About the role

We are seeking a part‑time Housekeeper to maintain clean and safe living spaces for residents and staff at our Lethbridge senior‑living community.

Key responsibilities

• Clean resident apartments and public areas, including bathrooms, kitchens, patios, windows, floors, furniture and common spaces.
• Perform laundry duties: wash, dry, fold, hang resident linens and distribute laundered articles.
• Maintain resident laundry areas, mop floors, clean walls and check lint traps.
• Stock cleaning carts, empty wastebaskets, transport trash to disposal areas and keep utility rooms orderly.
• Disinfect equipment and supplies, polish metalwork, and wash walls, woodwork, doors and sills.
• Report unsafe conditions, maintenance needs and resident health changes to the supervisor.

Required profile

• Successful completion of all company‑specified training programs.
• Ability to work varied schedules and shifts as needed.
• Basic reading, writing, mathematical and computer skills.
• Effective communication in English with employees and residents.
• General knowledge of sanitation and strong organization.

Required skills

• Operation of cleaning equipment such as iron, washer & dryer, brooms, mops and vacuums.
• Basic computer skills.
