About the role
The Hospitality Assistant supports the smooth operation of classrooms, meeting rooms, and lounges for seminars and meal‑related events. You will ensure spaces are clean, organized, and ready for use while providing basic catering support.
Key responsibilities
- Set up, clean, and take down classrooms, meeting rooms, and lounge areas.
- Arrange furniture to accommodate various layouts and event needs.
- Prepare and arrange refreshments, catered items, and coffee equipment.
- Load and unload catering equipment and food supplies.
- Wash dishes, catering service ware, and coffee equipment.
- Wipe down counters, trolleys, fridges, and storage areas.
- Sanitize kitchen surfaces and equipment after use.
- Assist with general kitchen upkeep to support food service operations.
Required profile
- High school diploma.
- At least one year of related experience.
- Service‑oriented with a professional appearance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in English (level 4/4) and basic knowledge of French.
Required skills
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to follow catering vendor instructions and confirm orders.
What we offer
- Hourly wage of $17.50.
- Part‑time schedule (approximately 12 hours per week).
- Fixed‑term employment from August 2026 to June 2027.
