About the role

The Home Support Worker provides compassionate bedside and personal care to elderly clients in their homes. This role includes assisting with hygiene, mobility, light exercise, and maintaining a safe, comfortable living environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Administer bedside and personal care, including bathing and hygiene assistance.
  • Support clients with regular exercise such as walking.
  • Mend clothing and linens as needed.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Handle up to 9 kg (20 lb) of weight safely.

Required profile

  • Punctual, dependable, and flexible.
  • Client‑focused with strong judgment and initiative.
  • Organized, patient, and honest.
  • Ability to pass a criminal record check.
