About the role
We are seeking a compassionate Home Support Worker to provide personal care, companionship, and household assistance to an elderly client in West Vancouver. The role offers optional live‑in accommodation (not a condition of employment) and a supportive, non‑smoking environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist clients with bathing, personal hygiene and water activities such as pool use.
- Support regular exercise, including walks, and provide companionship.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and shop for food and household supplies.
- Launder clothing and household linens and perform light housekeeping duties.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation or equivalent experience.
- 1‑6 months of relevant experience.
- Clean criminal record and references.
- Reliability, punctuality, flexibility and strong client focus.
