Home Child Care Provider – Private Household

About the role

We are seeking a caring and reliable Home Child Care Provider to join a private household in Vancouver. The role involves supporting the family’s children in daily routines, ensuring their safety, and contributing to a nurturing home environment.

Key responsibilities

• Change diapers and assist with toilet training following parents’ guidance.
• Supervise children during trips, outings, and everyday activities, including housekeeping duties as needed.
• Teach personal hygiene, social skills, and organize games and outings.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and manage rest periods for infants and children.
• Maintain accurate daily activity and health records.
• Transport children to school, appointments, and extracurricular activities.
• Support children’s emotional well‑being and provide attentive care.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation or equivalent.
• Valid CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Clear criminal record, vulnerable sector, and driver’s licence checks.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel with the family.
• Excellent communication, flexibility, organization, patience, and honesty.
