About the role
We are seeking a dedicated home child care provider to look after children in a family household in Edmonton. The role involves creating a safe, nurturing environment while supporting the family’s daily routines.
Key responsibilities
- Assume full responsibility for the household in the parents’ absence, including light housekeeping and cleaning.
- Wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens.
- Instruct children in personal hygiene, social development, and maintain daily activity and health records.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and ensure a safe, healthy home environment.
- Transport children to and from school, appointments, and extracurricular activities.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- CPR and First Aid certifications.
- Flexibility, initiative, organization, reliability, and strong time‑management skills.
- Previous experience in child care is an asset.
