Home Child Care Provider

About the role

We are looking for a caring and reliable Home Child Care Provider to join a family in Toronto. You will be responsible for the full well‑being of infants and children in a private household, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and organized environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assume full responsibility for household duties in the parents' absence, including light housekeeping and cleaning.
• Travel with the family on trips, providing child supervision and housekeeping support.
• Wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens.
• Bathe, dress, feed, and discipline infants and children according to parental guidelines.
• Maintain daily activity and health records for each child.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks.
• Supervise rest periods and tend to the emotional well‑being of children.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience.
• First Aid Certificate.
• Clear criminal record check.
• Physically able to handle repetitive tasks and lift up to 9 kg.
• Personal qualities: flexibility, initiative, good judgement, organization, reliability, time management, patience, honesty.
