Home Child Care Provider – Full‑time

About the role

We are seeking a caring and reliable Home Child Care Provider to join our family environment in Calgary. This full‑time, permanent position involves looking after infants and children in the employer’s home, ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and development.

Key responsibilities

• Change diapers and assist with toilet training as directed by parents.
• Bathe, dress, feed, and prepare nutritious meals for infants and children.
• Organise and lead age‑appropriate activities, games, and outings.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy home environment, including light housekeeping.
• Prepare children for rest periods and supervise them at all times.
• Follow all safety protocols, including vulnerable sector checks and reference verification.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• Physical ability to handle repetitive tasks and lift up to 23 kg (50 lb).
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, days, weekends as needed.
• Patience, honesty, client‑focus, and strong organisational skills.
