Home Child Care Provider – Full‑Time

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Home Child Care Provider to join a family in Edmonton on a permanent, full‑time basis. You will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing environment for infants and children while the parents are away.

Key responsibilities

• Assume full responsibility for household duties in the parents' absence.
• Bathe, dress, feed, and supervise infants and children.
• Teach personal hygiene, social skills, and support homework.
• Maintain daily activity and health records.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals, including South Indian specialties.
• Plan and lead age‑appropriate activities such as storytelling, songs, crafts, and outings.
• Ensure a safe, healthy, and scent‑free home environment.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in child care or family support.
• Valid Emergency Child Care First Aid and CPR certification.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English.
• Reliable, patient, and organized with a client‑focused attitude.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and on‑call shifts.

Required skills

• First Aid and CPR proficiency.
• Basic cooking skills, especially South Indian cuisine.
