Home Child Care Provider – Full‑time

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Home Child Care Provider to join a family in Montréal on a full‑time, fixed‑term basis. You will be the primary caregiver and household support when the parents are away, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and well‑organized environment for the children.

Key responsibilities

• Assume full responsibility for the household in the parents' absence, including light housekeeping and cleaning.
• Travel with the family on trips, providing child supervision and assistance with housekeeping duties.
• Wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens.
• Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, and teach personal hygiene and social development.
• Maintain a safe and healthy home environment, organizing games, outings, and educational activities.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals tailored to the children’s needs.
• Support the emotional well‑being of the children and respond to their daily needs.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 1–2 years of experience in child care or a similar role.
• Physically capable of handling up to 23 kg and performing repetitive tasks.
• Willingness to work mornings, evenings, and occasional overtime.
• Ability to travel with the family; travel expenses are not reimbursed.
• Clear background checks (child abuse registry, criminal record, drug test, medical exam) and references.
