Home Child Care Provider – Full-time

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Home Child Care Provider to join a family in Montréal on a permanent, full-time basis. The role involves caring for children of various ages within the employer’s home, ensuring their safety, development, and well‑being while supporting household routines.

Key responsibilities

• Change diapers, assist with toilet training, and maintain personal hygiene for infants and children.
• Prepare and sterilize bottles, feed, bathe, dress, and supervise children throughout the day.
• Plan and lead age‑appropriate games, outings, and educational activities.
• Prepare nutritious meals, manage snack times, and oversee rest periods.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and clothing care in the parents’ absence.
• Transport children to school, appointments, and accompany the family on trips, handling related childcare duties.
• Maintain daily activity logs, health records, and ensure a safe, healthy environment.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of professional childcare experience, preferably in a home setting.
• Strong interpersonal communication, patience, honesty, and reliability.
• Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting up to 9 kg and performing repetitive duties.
• Willingness to undergo criminal record check and medical examination.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and on‑call shifts.
