Home Child Care Provider – Full-Time

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Home Child Care Provider to join a family in Calgary on a full‑time basis. You will work directly in the employer’s home, providing a safe, nurturing environment for infants and children while supporting parents’ routines and expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Change diapers, sterilize bottles, and prepare formulas.
• Assist with toilet training following parents’ guidance.
• Bathe, dress, feed, and supervise children throughout the day.
• Discipline children according to parents’ methods and promote personal hygiene and social development.
• Maintain daily activity and health records for each child.
• Organize games, outings, and other developmental activities.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and manage rest periods.
• Perform light housekeeping and ensure a safe, healthy home environment.
• Assume full responsibility for household duties in parents’ absence.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation (high school diploma).
• 1–2 years of experience in childcare or related field.
• Current First Aid certification.
• Clear criminal record and vulnerable sector checks.
• Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lb) and handle physically demanding tasks.
• Strong communication, reliability, patience, and honesty.
