About the role
Join Your Independent Grocer in Cornwall as an HMR Department Manager. You will lead a team, drive sales, and ensure an excellent customer experience in a fast‑paced grocery environment.
Key responsibilities
- Anticipate and prioritize customer needs.
- Lead, coach and motivate colleagues to achieve success.
- Maintain merchandising and operational standards.
- Accountable for departmental sales results and financial objectives.

Required profile
- Exceptional customer service skills with a talent for building loyalty.
- Prior department‑specific experience preferred.
- Proven retail or food‑service management experience.
- Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
