Helicopter Pilot

About the role

Airbus Helicopters Canada Ltd. is seeking an experienced Helicopter Pilot to join its Flight Operations team in Fort Erie. Reporting to the Head of Flight Operations, you will operate with a high degree of autonomy while collaborating with multi‑disciplinary teams to ensure safe and efficient flight operations across Canada and the USA.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct maintenance test flights, delivery flights, demonstrations, and special missions in compliance with OEM manuals and Transport Canada regulations.
• Perform flight test programs, STC compliance flights, and system evaluations, identifying and troubleshooting technical issues.
• Review technical documentation, flight controls, procedures, and aircraft logs prior to test operations.
• Provide ground and flight instruction to customers and support commercial and marketing demonstration flights.
• Coordinate post‑flight debriefs with Quality Assurance, Engineering, and Flight Operations teams.

Required profile

• Valid helicopter pilot licence and current medical certification.
• Demonstrated experience in flight testing, maintenance testing, or delivery operations.
• Willingness to reside in the Niagara region or relocate.
• Ability to travel on short notice across North America, including weekends and holidays as required.
