About the role
We are seeking a Head Cashier to lead our sales team at Sardis Bottle Depot in Chilliwack. The role involves overseeing cash operations, managing staff schedules, and ensuring excellent customer service. You will also prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters.
Key responsibilities
- Assign sales workers to duties.
- Order merchandise and authorize returns.
- Establish work schedules for the team.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters.
- Resolve customer requests, complaints and supply shortages.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of workers.
- Maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- 2 to less than 3 years of supervisory experience.
- Commitment to creating an inclusive workplace for persons with disabilities, newcomers, youth and Indigenous workers.
