About the role
The Head Cashier leads the cash operations of a busy liquor store, ensuring smooth transactions, effective staff coordination and excellent customer service.
Key responsibilities
- Assign sales workers to duties and establish work schedules.
- Hire, train, or arrange training for cash and sales staff.
- Order merchandise, authorize returns and manage inventory shortages.
- Sell merchandise, resolve customer requests and complaints.
- Manage cash handling procedures and supervise office and volunteer staff.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- 1 to less than 2 years of retail or cash handling experience.
- Availability for early‑morning, evening, day, night, weekend shifts.
