Hairstylist – Full‑time Permanent Position

About the role

First Choice Haircutters in Windsor is seeking a skilled hairstylist to join their permanent, full‑time team. The role involves delivering a wide range of hair services and front‑desk duties in a busy salon environment.

Key responsibilities

• Book client appointments and manage the daily schedule.
• Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair according to client preferences.
• Shampoo, condition, and provide scalp massages, as well as shave and trim beards and mustaches.
• Apply bleach, dyes, tints, frosting, streaking or highlights to achieve desired colour results.
• Suggest suitable hairstyles based on client features and preferences.
• Perform receptionist duties, including greeting clients and handling payments.

Required profile

• Other trades certificate or diploma, or equivalent experience.
• Valid Hairstylist Licence.
• Experience in a barbershop or salon is an asset.

Required skills

• Blow drying and iron waving/curling.
• Permanents and roller setting.
• Hair colouring techniques such as bleaching, dyes/tints, frosting and streaking/highlights.
