Guest Service Supervisor

About the role

The Guest Service Supervisor leads the reception, reservations, night audit and concierge teams to deliver a seamless and personalized experience for all guests, including VIPs. This role combines operational oversight with hands‑on guest interaction, ensuring high standards of service, safety and aesthetics throughout the property.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate arrivals for regular guests and VIPs, guaranteeing a tailored stay.
• Support and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Maintain a visible presence in service areas to uphold aesthetic standards and compliance with health, safety, hygiene and sanitation regulations.
• Communicate regularly with other departments to synchronize customer‑service activities and manage inventory during peak periods.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for complaint handling, service‑excellence initiatives, and emergency or crisis situations.

Required profile

• Diploma in Hotel Management (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of management or supervisory experience in a hotel environment.
• Proven leadership ability to inspire, motivate and mobilize teams.
• Strong empathy for guests, with the capacity to understand and address their concerns.
• Effective problem‑solving skills and tolerance for stressful guest interactions.

Required skills

• Strong computer proficiency, particularly with OPERA PMS.
