Ground Handler – Aviation Support at Victoria Airport

About the role

Executive Aviation is seeking motivated individuals to join our ground handling team at Victoria Airport. As a Ground Handler you will support a variety of airline partners, ensuring safe and efficient ramp operations while gaining valuable aviation experience.

Key responsibilities

• Follow airline procedures and Transport Canada regulations.
• Drive and operate ground service equipment.
• Marshall and wing‑walk aircraft to gates.
• Sort, load and offload guest baggage according to load plans.
• Transport baggage to claim areas and unload onto conveyor systems.
• Service aircraft water and lavatory systems.
• Inspect ramp areas for debris and remove it.
• Groom aircraft interiors, clean cabins, galleys, lavatories and restock supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Ramp Lead.

Required profile

• Flexible availability for shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Physical ability to stand, lift, bend, crouch, kneel and push/pull for extended periods.
• Capacity to lift up to 70 lb (32 kg) regularly.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Compliance with safety wear requirements (steel‑toe boots, reflective vest, hearing protection).
• Ability to obtain a Restricted Area pass, pass a criminal background check and hold a clean driver’s licence.
