Grocery Clerk – Sales & Service (Part‑Time)

About the role

Join our Lloydminster store as a part‑time Grocery Clerk, delivering friendly service and ensuring a clean, well‑organized checkout area. You will be the front‑line representative for customers, handling transactions and supporting store operations.

Key responsibilities

• Enter or scan items selected by customers accurately.
• Verify prices, cancel transactions when needed, and maintain transaction standards.
• Handle cash, debit cards, cheques and other payment methods, and process deposits according to policy.
• Balance the cash register at the end of each shift.
• Meet productivity targets such as sales per hour and entries per minute.
• Bag items following store standards and maintain a tidy work area.
• Keep uniform and equipment clean, and use supplies safely.
• Follow food safety and hygiene guidelines.
• Perform any additional duties related to the role.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Customer‑service oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work varied shifts, stand for long periods and lift up to 20 kg.
• Team‑spirit, good communication and ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Cash register system operation.
