About the role
Granite Royal Inc. is seeking a skilled granite cutter to join its team in Montréal. The role involves operating specialized equipment to cut, grind, polish, and drill stone blocks to precise specifications.
Key responsibilities
- Operate blade or wire saws to cut blocks of stone to specified dimensions, ensuring precision and safety.
- Operate machines to grind and polish surfaces of stone blocks, slabs, or other stone products to specific shapes or designs, producing a smooth finish.
- Operate machines to drill holes in blocks or slabs of stone according to specifications.
Required profile
- Available to start on the date listed in the job posting.
- Possess 2 to less than 3 years of experience working in granite cutting or related stone fabrication.
Required skills
- Proficiency in operating blade saws.
- Proficiency in operating wire saws.
- Experience with grinding and polishing machinery.
- Experience with drilling machinery.
