Go Global Associate Advisor

About the role

The Go Global Associate Advisor supports UBC’s international learning program by managing inbound and outbound student mobility opportunities, developing curriculum, and providing guidance to students throughout their global experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Manage established learning opportunities with partner universities and UBC academic programs.
• Develop and deliver co‑curricular workshops and learning curriculum for international study, research, and practicum placements.
• Advise incoming and outgoing students before, during, and after their international experiences.
• Coordinate orientation and transition events for inbound and outbound participants.
• Develop and implement recruitment strategies for specific international learning programs.
• Represent Go Global on university project teams, committees, and partner networks.
• Provide project management support for program initiatives and collaborations.

Required profile

• Strong project management and organizational abilities.
• Experience in education, advising, or student services.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse academic units and external partners.
• Commitment to equity, inclusion, and international engagement.
