Generalist Engineer

About the role

We are building a platform that powers a better future for running events, helping everyone from individual organizers to large agencies manage events efficiently. As a Generalist Engineer you will join a small, ambitious startup and contribute across the full technology stack, shaping both the product and the engineering culture.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain server‑side services using Spring Boot or comparable frameworks such as Django or Express.
• Build and enhance mobile client applications for iOS or Android.
• Define and implement robust HTTP/RESTful APIs.
• Model data and work with SQL databases.
• Collaborate on UI/UX improvements and write performant, high‑quality code.
• Participate in open‑source initiatives and share knowledge within the team.

Required profile

• Fearless problem‑solver eager to wear many hats in a fast‑moving startup.
• Passionate about contributing to a product that has a large impact on the event‑management space.

Required skills

• Server‑side experience with Spring Boot, Django, Express or similar.
• Mobile development experience on iOS or Android.
• Strong understanding of HTTP and RESTful API design.
• Familiarity with SQL databases and data modeling.
• Interest in UI/UX and writing performant code.
• Willingness to contribute to open‑source projects.
