About the role

Robadair Ltd., a precision metal manufacturer serving commercial, defence and aerospace sectors, is seeking energetic individuals for the General Shop Help position on both day and night shifts. The role involves supporting shop floor operations, handling paperwork, and ensuring smooth flow of jobs through the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Operate grinding and deburring equipment.
• Process parts through the chemfilm coating process.
• Mask and unmask components as required.
• Perform painting, packing, and shipping tasks.
• Assemble parts following prescribed sequences.
• Maintain shop cleanliness and safety standards.
• Lift loads of 5‑20 lb frequently.
• Report issues to the Night Shift Supervisor and perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; post‑secondary technical training is an asset.
• Ability to read technical prints and follow detailed instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a proactive approach to risk identification.
• Reliability in completing repetitive tasks on schedule.
