General Manager – Restaurant Operations

About the role

Chipotle is seeking a General Manager to lead a fast‑casual restaurant, championing its mission to cultivate a better world through better food. You will be responsible for hiring, developing, and inspiring a team while ensuring operational excellence and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain guest‑obsessed standards of hospitality, speed, accuracy, and overall experience.
• Oversee the full employee lifecycle: recruitment, hiring, performance management, and training.
• Manage daily operations including scheduling, P&L control, sales forecasting, and digital order fulfillment.
• Ensure the dining area is clean, guest‑ready, and compliant with food safety and operational standards.
• Drive financial performance to meet annual sales and cash‑flow targets.
• Lead marketing initiatives such as fundraisers and community engagement to boost sales.

Required profile

• Passionate about hospitality and guest experience.
• Friendly, enthusiastic attitude with a genuine interest in people development.
• Proven restaurant management experience covering scheduling, P&L, food safety, sales forecasting, and recruiting.
• Creative approach to marketing and community outreach.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced kitchen, stand and walk for up to 10 hours daily, and lift up to 50 lb.
